David Perlmutter, MD, FACN, ABIHM

David Perlmutter is a board-certified neurologist and New York Times bestselling author. He serves on the American Nutrition Association’s Scientific Advisory Board and is a distinguished Fellow of the ANA. Dr. Perlmutter received his M.D. degree from the University of Miami School of Medicine where he was awarded the Leonard G. Rowntree Research Award. He serves as a member of the Editorial Board for the Journal of Alzheimer’s Disease and has published extensively in peer-reviewed scientific journals including Archives of Neurology, Neurosurgery, and The Journal of Applied Nutrition. In addition, he is a frequent lecturer at symposia sponsored by institutions such as the World Bank and IMF, Columbia University, Scripps Institute, New York University, and Harvard University, and serves as an Associate Professor at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. Dr. Perlmutter has been interviewed on many nationally syndicated television programs and is the recipient of numerous awards, including the Humanitarian of the Year Award of the ANA’s American College of Nutrition.

Diana Noland, MPH, RDN, IFMCP

Diana Noland is a recognized functional nutrition practitioners and educator and the owner of Noland Nutrition, an Integrative and Functional Medical Nutrition Therapy private telemedicine practice. In addition to over 45 years of clinical practice, she has served as faculty of the Institute for Functional Medicine (IFM), developed curriculum for KUMC’s graduate dietetics program, has served as an expert witness, a nutrition consultant, and an author and editor, most recently, co-editor of the Integrative and Functional Medical Nutrition Therapy: Principles and Practices (Springer Nature 2020). She is a recipient of the Dietitians in Functional Medicine (DIFM) Excellence in Clinical Practice Award and the DIFM Lifetime Achievement Award. Diana is an IFM Certified Practitioner.

Hetal Patel, MD, MSHS, CHCQN-PHYADV

Hetal Patel is an expert in advancing healthcare innovation and increasing efficiency within clinical as well as non-clinical settings. Dr. Patel is a practicing Board Certified Emergency Medicine Physician and is Physician Healthcare Executive Board Certified in Healthcare Quality and Management with sub-specialty Board Certification as a Physician Advisor. He has held positions in US Naval Aviation Medicine as a Flight Surgeon for the US Navy. In the realm of Emergency Medicine, he has designed and implemented SOPs to improve efficiency of multiple Emergency Departments and improve safety profile of patient care. He is currently pursuing studies in integrative medicine at the George Washington University.

Jessica Titchenal is a Doctor of Clinical Nutrition, Certified Nutrition Specialist, and certified nutritionist in Washington state. Jessica received her M.S. in Nutrition & Integrative Health and DCN from Maryland University of Integrative Health. She has worked with practitioners seeking to broaden their knowledge of special topics in personalized nutrition and helped individuals transform their health through her practice.

Lara Zakaria, RPh, CNS, IFMCP

Lara Zakaria combines her expertise in pharmacy and training in functional nutrition to design personalized nutrition protocols to optimize patient health outcomes. She is a functional medicine pharmacist, nutritionist, and public health professional based in New York City. She received her BS in pharmacy from Rutgers University and the Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Colorado. She holds an MS in Functional Nutrition from MUIH. She is a Certified Nutrition Specialist, an IFM certified practitioner, certified health coach and member of the board of directors of the Syrian Medical Society.

Victoria Yunez Behm, MS, MTS, CNS, LDN

Victoria Yunez Behm is a Certified Nutrition Specialist (CNS) and Licensed Dietitian-Nutritionist. She received her undergraduate degree from Messiah University, MS in Nutrition from MUIH, and MTS from Duke University. Her work centers around how systems, people, and food intersect to create meaning, community well-being, and whole-person health. Victoria has dedicated her career to translating nutrition information for students, professionals, and the public. She brings a unique perspective on nutrition and bioethics to the table, illuminating the effects of inequitable systems on health disparities, access to food, and access to nutrition services and information for vulnerable populations.
