BCNS Board Directors Georgia Austin, Jeffrey Bland, and Jonathan Emord have stepped down as of year’s end. We thank them for their many contributions and years of service. These inspirational leaders have been a crucial part of the development and growth of the BCNS and the nutrition profession.

American Nutrition Association Announces 100 Nutrition Education Scholarships in Underserved Communities

SAN DIEGO, CA Oct. 26, 2022 – The American Nutrition Association (ANA) is proud to announce its commitment to award 100 nutrition training scholarships to licensed health care providers in rural and underserved areas.  Consistent with the Biden-Harris Administration’s recently announced goal of ending hunger and reducing diet-related disease by 2030, the American Nutrition Association’s allocation of these scholarships for their Personalized Nutrition Practitioner (PNP) Training and Certification will equip scholarship recipients with the skills and knowledge to apply personalized nutrition in practice to address diet-related diseases and conditions.
